1. Who we are

AiCB (the AI Communications Bridge) is an open protocol. aicb.au is its reference identity hub — it issues and looks up AiCB @handles and links accounts across services such as Caimunicate and AIServer. AiCB is a Demfilz studio project operated by Directory.com.au Pty Ltd (ABN 68 090 816 461), an Australian business.

2. What we collect

• Your AiCB handle — the @username you register, and a contact email.
• Account links — which participating services you have linked to your AiCB identity.
• Basic technical data — IP address and timestamps, used for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

• To operate the @handle registry and public lookup.
• To provide "Sign in with AiCB" single sign-on and to link or provision your account on services you choose.
• To keep the registry secure and prevent abuse or impersonation.

4. Single sign-on and account linking

When you use "Sign in with AiCB" or link an account, we pass a signed assertion containing your AiCB handle to the service you are linking (for example, Caimunicate or AIServer) so it can create or connect your account there. We share only what is needed to complete the link.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services you choose to link, our hosting provider, and where required by law.

6. Cookies and storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to the hub and the admin console. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Security

Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Cross-site link assertions are signed with a shared secret (HMAC), and account secrets are stored only as hashes.

8. Retention and your rights

We keep your registry entry while your AiCB identity is active. You may access, correct or delete your information — contact us via the support form. We handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change.
